Her friend thought it would be funny to put a plastic roach in the sweet girl's daytimer so that when she opened it at a meeting, she would squeal and scream and almost wet her pants with fright.
And because she was sweet, she loved candy. Usually Milk Duds but, sometimes, she partook in other delicious holiday candies. She also liked to make up words like 'partook' but that's not important right now.
Peeps were one of her favorites. Not as good as the Cadbury Egg but still, yummy.
Because the sweet girl is also a Christian and doesn't believe in returning evil for evil, she thought her friend who put the very realistic roach in her daytimer causing her to squeal and almost wet her pants in front of her peers might need some sugar.
So she shared.
Her Peeps.
A few... or one hundred.
And unlike a tricky plastic but very real looking roach tucked into her daytimer that made her squeal and almost wet her pants, she made the Peeps easy for her friend to find.
Easy for anyone to find, really, who might be passing her on the freeway.
It was the least she could do.
The least she and her equally sweet five year old daughter could do.
Happy Easter! From the girl, and her peeps.

That is a riot! And look... even passerby could grab a quick treat too on the way to their cars ;-)
I think I would have died opening my daytimer to find that roach. I'm with you... terrified of them - real or plastic! It was hard even looking at the picture you posted! Blech! ;-)
Happy Easter!
Hahahaha! That is totally awesome... well, not the roach... but the peep retaliation!
That's great! I would never have thought of somethig so clever!
Did you have to lick all of those or do they just stick?? :)
That is AWESOME.
You are a GIVER.
How fun! How hilarious! I am so inspired to peep someones ride for Easter!
The fake roach, on the other hand. Not fun. I probably would have had a heart attack.
That is simply the most fabulous thing I've ever seen. Seriously and truly.
Well done. You get 14 points.
you rock!
That is so hilarious....love a good joke! I might draw the line at the roach- I would have freaked my freak!!! Thanks for sharing.
I hate roaches. I would pay money to see you wet your pants in public, and I love you and sweet revenge.
I would not have enjoyed finding the roach, even if plastic. But, the Peeps. Now THAT is fun! Very cute idea!
FUN!
LOVE IT!
Will you let us know your friend's response to her peeped out ride???
Peep someone's ride...classic. I also want to know how you got them to stick. Not because I plan to actually use your idea. :)
I almost wet my pants laughing! Heaping peeps upon her head...er, car, is way more fun than coal.
And kudos for training up a child in the way she should go so that when she is old she will not depart from it, and forever be on the lookout for entertaining ways to love the brethren.
Surely partook is a word. It sounds so wordish.
You're awesome, kudos to you
Love it...peeps are way more fun than oreos, biscuit dough, and bologna...but those are still good when Peeps are out of season! Emily let me in on whose suburban that was...makes me laugh...love her...can hear her laugh in my head right now!
Keep up the good, hard work. Peep it real.
I almost died just seeing the roach on your calendar. I am with ya on those nasty things. And then I thought I was going to wet my pants laughing at your peeps payback! Oh that is one to remember!
So, now we know why the chicken crossed the road...to get even. Funny, funny, FUUUNNNEEE!
oh wow!! hahahahahaa!!!

I love your writings :)
I hate roaches.
And you only peeped her windows. That shows admirable restraint and consideration.
